Understanding your result
If the required score is above 100%, the target is not achievable; below 0% means you have already secured it.
Formula and method
Needed = (Desired − Current × (1 − Weight)) ÷ Weight, where Weight is the exam’s share as a decimal.
Worked example
With 80% current, a 90% target and a 30%-weight final, you need about 113.3% — meaning 90% is not reachable from the final alone.
