Military Time Converter

The 24-hour clock runs from 00:00 to 23:59 with no AM or PM, which removes the ambiguity around midnight and noon. Midnight is 00:00 and noon is 12:00; the minutes are identical in both systems.

For PM times other than 12 PM, add 12 to the hour; 12 AM becomes 00 and 12 PM stays 12. To go back, hours 13–23 map to 1–11 PM, 00 maps to 12 AM and 12 stays 12 PM.

2:30 PM becomes 14:30, and 00:00 is 12:00 AM (midnight).
