How is the countdown to my next birthday calculated?
Your next birthday is this year's anniversary of your birth date, or next year's if it has already passed; the countdown is the number of whole days from today until that date. For example, if today is 23 June and your birthday is 15 June, your next birthday is next year on 15 June. A 29 February birthday targets 1 March in non-leap years.
Understanding your result
The calculation uses your local date. For a birthday on 29 February, in non-leap years the countdown targets 1 March, the day most people celebrate.
